Roxanne McCarthy is a documentary photographer. Her series ‘ It was so beautiful ’ is a series of portraits of the senior citizens club at St Martin in the field’s Church in Coventry. Through her work, the members can share memories of their lives and relive them as they remember. This allows a sense of nostalgia and reminiscence for them. It is powerful and personal giving you an insight to how they lived.
